I am an advocate for helping smaller Houses of Worship (HOW) to become more viable in their community. Most publications in our industry feature installations of large houses of worship and infer the mega money they spent to construct their spectacular media landscape. This is all well and good; I believe that large houses of worship represent a significant portion of our business. However, I also believe that the larger percentage of the HOW business is found in small to medium congregations and facilities. Therefore, smart businesses would do well to serve the smaller congregations.
